There is a tradition in Gujarat to eat Fafda and Jalebi on Dussehra and one can see various make shift tents and stalls selling both the items everywhere. Vadodara is famous for foodies and hence it’s obvious to see people rushed to the stalls for delicious Fafda and Jalebi on Dussehra falls on Saturday this year.

We often see people don’t care about their health specially during the festive season and that makes the VMSS health department to conduct checking at the food eateries for quality of the food they are selling. On Friday a day before Dussehra the teams conduct checking in shops and make shift stalls selling Fafda and Jalebi. They also destroyed around 70kgs of Jalebi, Fafda and Chatni at the spot.
