Sursagar Lake, previously known as ChandanTalao of Vadodara, situated in the mid of Vadodara city. Sursagar lake history is interesting; In the late 18th century it was Rebuilt with stone banks and masonry. You can see full water throughout the year in this Sursagar lake of Vadodara. If Lake shows signs of overflow then there are several underground gates to empty water, this water goes to river Vishwamitri which flows through the Baroda.
