To celebrate completion of its 25 years, M S University’s Faculty of Journalism and Communication (FJC) will host a University Grants Commission (UGC) sponsored regional seminar on ‘Role of media in societal revitalisation’.

VADODARA: To celebrate completion of its 25 years, M S University‘s Faculty of Journalism and Communication (FJC) will host a University Grants Commission (UGC) sponsored regional seminar on ‘Role of media in societal revitalisation’.

The two days seminar which begins on Monday will have teachers, research scholars and students from universities and educational institutes from Vadodara as also from Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad as participants.

Paper and poster presentations and deliberations will be done on varied topics and subthemes under the main premise of the seminar. Author, film maker and corporate trainer Ramesh Menon is the key mentoring expert for the seminar which will be held at the seminar hall of the faculty.

The inaugural function will be graced by MSU chancellor Shubhangini Raje Gaekwad and vice-chancellor professor Parimal Vyas. It is the third UGC seminar being hosted by the faculty in recent years.
